Verixen Terms of Service, Privacy Policy & User Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Verixen's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Verixen provides Minecraft Bedrock server hosting and proxy/security services designed to protect servers from exploits, griefers, and malicious actors. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Proxy-based protection and player routing
  • AutoMod protection systems
  • Chat relay and moderation
  • Server analytics and monitoring
  • Backup and recovery services
  • Console and cross-platform support

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Verixen services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use our services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not attempt to circumvent or disable our security measures
  • Not use our services for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Respect the rights of other users and third parties

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our services to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware or harmful code
  • Engage in harassment or abusive behavior
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of our services

5. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain high availability, we do not guarantee that our services will be available 100% of the time. Downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Payment and Billing

Payment terms and billing information will be provided separately for paid services. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Verixen services are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Privacy & Data Collection

A. Information We Collect

  • User accounts: email, encrypted password
  • Optional Discord link: user ID, email (if provided), access token, refresh token, servers you are in
  • Optional Xbox link: XUID, Xbox Live access & refresh tokens
  • Players routed through proxy: XUID, IP address (encrypted), device ID (encrypted), device model (encrypted), SSID (encrypted)

B. Why We Collect Data

  • To provide hosting, proxy routing, and security features (e.g., anti-alt detection, abuse prevention)
  • To enable optional integrations (Discord logging, Xbox Realms management)
  • To maintain account security and service functionality

C. How We Store & Protect Data

  • Passwords are hashed using industry-standard encryption (bcrypt)
  • IP addresses, device identifiers, and sensitive values are encrypted at rest
  • OAuth tokens (Discord/Xbox) are stored securely and removed when you unlink accounts

D. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted immediately upon closure
  • Proxy routing logs are kept indefinitely for abuse/security investigations
  • Discord/Xbox tokens are stored only while the account is linked and revoked upon unlinking

E. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with service providers who help us operate the platform or with law enforcement if legally required.

F. Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California), including the right to access, delete, or restrict your data. Requests can be made by contacting us on Discord and opening a support ticket.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verixen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users or our business.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Verixen operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
